Major Goodvibes – “See Me, Roll Me, Smoke Me”
Major Goodvibes is a high energy rock band that combines a classic hard rock sound with the sarcasm and energy of punk. Formed in Vancouver and named after a package of doobies in a sci-fi movie, it writes and performs catchy guitar driven rockers with humorous lyrics about everyday life.
Major Goodvibes has released its CD titled “Fearful Feasible Feast”. Produced and recorded by the band’s guitarist Eddy Bugnut at the Devil’s Workshop , the CD features guitarist Chris Zorbakis on vocals, Jay Wittur on bass and Thud Pumkin on drums. Songs like the Europunk “Metropolitan” and the classic stomp of the Jamaican-flavored “See Me, Roll Me, Smoke Me” provide some of the CD’s highlights.
Major Goodvibes has also released 2 EPs (“Shut Up and Get Out of My Mansion!” and “Girls In Love With My Money”) and have been featured on two compilation CDs.
The first compilation was released by Vancouver radio station CFOX and featured the song “Nag”. Tom Harrison of The Province praised the song for its “very real sense of fun, energy and vitality!”
The second was released by New York City based indie label, Reaction CD and featured the song “Girl’s In Love With My Money”. Paul Stevens of The Music Connection called “Girl’s” one of the album’s most notable cuts.

22nd Century – “Echo Beach”
22nd Century is a 4-piece modern rock band with punk overtones. Influenced by Nirvana, Sex Pistols and Alice in Chains the band features Timothy Plommer on guitars and vocals, Duane Chaos on bass and vocals and punk rock superstar Zippy Pinhead (D.O.A., The Mutants, The Dils) on drums.
Following up on 2009′s successful debut CD, “The Twenty Second Century, the band has released “Where’s Howie?!!”. Produced by legendary rock producer John Webster (Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Scorpions, Motley Crue), Where’s Howie was recorded in Vancouver’s Mushroom Studios and released Jan 6, 2011 on Bugnut Records. The 10 song CD includes covers of Martha and the Muffins “Echo Beach” and The Angels (aka “Angel City”) No Secrets which charted in Australia as high as #8 in 1980.
22nd Century was nominated by the Somojo UK as a finalist for “Rock Artist of the Year”.
Mother’s Fear – “Charlotte”
The name “Mothers Fear” has long been synonymous with “high energy heavy rock” and many of those who have attended the band’s live shows have become “Fear Fans” for life. These fans appreciate the band’s no nonsense approach to music and performance. At the band’s core is the songwriting team of singer Brian Flanagan and guitarist Robert Graves. Over the years the line-up has changed but the attitude remains the same. “Hang on tight cause the Fear is here”.
