The Richards – “The Streets Are Hot”
Formed in 2009, The Richards have released a full length CD called “Right out of the Gates” which contains 12 juicy tracks recorded and mastered at Ear Art Studios with the help of Tim Neuhaus. The Richards is all about playing rock and roll and having a good time. According to Tom Harrison of The Vancouver Province, “Leader Dick Richards is an observer, of whom you have to conclude a song such as “The Streets Are Hot” comes from personal experience. It’s about gun war and subsequent killing that sounds too real to doubt. That gives an authenticity to The Richards’ hard rock and might explain the band’s unvarnished attack”.
