Bugnut Records is the production company of producer/songwriter Eddy Bugnut. The label was originally formed in 1998 for the purpose of producing and distributing 3 albums for Canadian band, Major Goodvibes (“Shut Up and Get Out Of My Mansion!”, “Girls In Love With My Money” and “Fearful Feasible Feast”).
After a hiatus the label resurfaced in 2009 to release Eddy Bugnut’s own album, “Heavy Medicine” and “Where’s Howie!!’, the second release from Vancouver’s 22nd Century (Released January 2011).
Bugnut Records has since evolved into the area of licensing music for film, television and other multimedia presentations via its innovative, automated licensing system. The label currently handles licensing for 8 artists including 22nd Century, Tommy Alto, ADHD, Major Goodvibes, The Richards and Mother’s Fear and Eddy Bugnut. It is also currently producing new albums for Patos, Pollen and ADHD.
