Major Goodvibes

Major Goodvibes – “See Me, Roll Me, Smoke Me”
Major Goodvibes is a high energy rock band that combines a classic hard rock sound with the sarcasm and energy of punk. Formed in Vancouver and named after a package of doobies in a sci-fi movie, it writes and performs catchy guitar driven rockers with humorous lyrics about everyday life.
Major Goodvibes has released its CD titled “Fearful Feasible Feast”. Produced and recorded by the band’s guitarist Eddy Bugnut at the Devil’s Workshop , the CD features guitarist Chris Zorbakis on vocals, Jay Wittur on bass and Thud Pumkin on drums. Songs like the Europunk “Metropolitan” and the classic stomp of the Jamaican-flavored “See Me, Roll Me, Smoke Me” provide some of the CD’s highlights.
Major Goodvibes has also released 2 EPs (“Shut Up and Get Out of My Mansion!” and “Girls In Love With My Money”) and have been featured on two compilation CDs.
The first compilation was released by Vancouver radio station CFOX and featured the song “Nag”. Tom Harrison of The Province praised the song for its “very real sense of fun, energy and vitality!”
The second was released by New York City based indie label, Reaction CD and featured the song “Girl’s In Love With My Money”. Paul Stevens of The Music Connection called “Girl’s” one of the album’s most notable cuts.
